Best Laptop Wireless 3G Data Card In India

I was using data card from long time. I bought my reliance data card netconnect 1x year ago. Now i am using netconnect unlimited plan for 800 rs per month. I am quite satisfied with its service. Still i was expecting bit more. Because i am getting full tower in my data card. Suppose if you don't have good network then it is really difficult to use proper net. Many times connection drops but still ok.
Data Cards In India
There are two types of data card available in India.
- High speed data cards: All data card except 1x, which gives more
speed are high speed data card. These data card like bsnl evdo data card
2.4 MBPS or reliance data card 3.5 MBPS comes under this category.
- Low speed data cards: All 1x data card which gives speed from 144
kbps to 250 kbps are comes under low speed data cards.
Companies which provide wireless net connection in india are:
- BSNL EVDO data card
- Reliance data card
- Tata indicom photon
- Idea data card
- Airtel data card
All these companies are providing net connection in different different plans. Which also have some benefits according to customers.
Like BSNL data card: You can take bsnl 2.4 mbps data cards on rent or you can by it directly. I think taking on rent this data card is good for initial testing. Because i saw in many reviews peoples are claiming bsnl evdo data card is giving very high speed with downloading speed 100-300 kbps per second. Which i think is decent as compared to other data cards and the plans bsnl is providing in india. Right now you can use unlimited 2.4 mbps net connection in 650 rs per month. But some part of country it is not getting good responses. I think tower may be far from the original location.
Reliance Data Card: Reliance is another good company which is provides net connection. It has two types of data cards. 1x 230 kbps znet data card and another is 3.5 MBPS data card. 1x data card has different plans on time based. Like you can used its data card for day and night for particular hours every month. Like 50 hours day and 100 hours night. And after these you need to pay for every minute. You can take 300rs, 400 rs and 400 rs unlimited plans night. or 800 rs unlimited plans for every month.
And 3.5 MBPS data card has no unlimited plan right now. You can use plans like 10GB, 20 GB etc for different rentals.
Tata Indicom Photon: Like reliance data card tata indicom photon is also good company providing good net speed. It has 144 kbps data card with monthly rental 700 for unlimited usage. Also, it has high speed wireless internet connections. But unlike reliance you can use all hours any time day or night.
Idea data card: Few of my friends bought this data card recently. Why because their rental for unlimited plans is lowest as compared to same data card speed. They are charging 600rs per month for unlimited data internet usage. This low speed data card cost around 2000 rs and monthly 600rs if you buy unlimited net connections. These two girls told me that idea data card has moderated speed. Good for internet usage and for daily work.
Airtel Data Card: One of my friend bought airtel data card one and half year ago. That time he was on unlimited plans of 500 rs per month. But his data card was not working in other states. Still he was very unsatisfied that time. But you can check the performance of data card in your region.
Which is best data card in India
- Take cost and speed as criteria: If you can spend 650 rs per month and also want high speed net connections Then buy bsnl evdo data card. Why because you are getting unlimited data usage for 650rs.
- Take Speed as criteria: Reliance and tat indicom photon has more then 3 MBPS data cards. But these are not unlimited. These data card provides decent speeds in metros in India with A and B class cities.
- Unlimited plans with 230 kbps data cards: Many places
where bsnl
data cards don't have good speed. So, you try reliance net connect and
tata indicom photon. These two company provide national roaming also.
It is recommended to know what unlimited data usage means because few companies means unlimited data usage or 15 GB/20 GB. After they will charge some money per MB or every minutes. Also, Taking advice from the people who is already using advisable. Because some times data card work in some area very good and some areas which is far from tower gives different performance. Like identify how far is cdma tower is from your home for any company.

from my view point BSNL is best in every city(except delhi and mumbai)whether it is broadband or data card and it provide highest speed at low cost it is not like Reliance,TATA,airtel or MTS(slow speed network).
Till date I have used Tata photon card and MTS M blaze. My experience with the latter has been extremely unsatisfying.The speeds are slow and network glitches are very frequent, sometimes I am unable to receive any signal at all.Tata photon which I use off and on is much better in this regard.
I will be trying the Vodaphone 3G card because Tata Photon and MTS work on CDMA network and as per my knowledge 3Gb speeds are much better than CDMA. Correct me if I am wrong.

wat is happening in the market i wanna inform u just buy any 3g phone or a data card of micromax which is 3g enabled & its speed is 3.6 mbps simply move 2 any sim shop and purchase aprepaid bsnl 2g sim activate it by its frc(first recharge) and get the internet settings in up east the price is 98 rs for 2 gb then in ur cell give the option of umts (3g) now ur same sim which u bought and which is 2g now works as a 3g sim without any additional costs for calling also and for ur internet purpose ,internet either on cell or on desktop now use it in 3g mode and enjoy
but if u will move to shop and ask to provide a 3g sim then it would be very costly & price of a sim + frc + internet charges would be very very high
so use it in this maanner
also go for the modem(usb) of o2 it has a speed of 7.2 mbps while micromax provides speed of 3.2 mbps (max) speed , besides this idea net setter doesnt carry any waranty so choice is urs

Currently Tata docomo, reliance and MTNL has only launched their 3 G services and data card . My 2 cents are on Tata docomo, I bought one after recommendation from another friend. It works smoothly without any network glitches for the past 2 weeks.
If you can wait lookout for vodaphone one. It should have better connectivity than others.

Currently in India or in west bengal, BSNL 3G plan & service too good then others. Friends I m too experienced about this matter so I share this to all of u.
use BSNL plan & service enjoy the actual broadband speed.

You can buy micromax 3g data card and you can use all 3g services like reliance 3g, bsnl 3g, tata 3g, idea 3g but they tarrif of these services is too high right now. But reliance cdma 3.1 mbps data card have good connectivity uniformaly across the india.

hey i would suggest you all to go for BSNL.
Buy any bsnl sim and recharge it with Rs.174/98 it will give u 8/2 GB data usage per month.
now after recharging turn ur network mode from 2G to UMTS/3G mode....
and ureka u got that yes u can use BSNL 3G at 2G prices.
